My research focuses on online gaming communities and the preservation of live service games, examining how players and developers keep virtual worlds alive outside institutional structures. I also explore how player-generated description can meet archival standards, crosswalking Steam's community tag folksonomy to the Video Game Metadata Schema's controlled vocabularies.
